Description:
|
Make24 provides children age 8 and up with a challenging series of math problems using a novel game environment. It presents a series of four playing cards. The child must combine the cards, using a variety of operators (+, -, x, /, and two parenthesis), to make the value of the cards equal 24. Each game is timed the faster each problem is solved, the higher the score. A hint button is available, along with a solver button that displays the answer. Background music and sound effects add interest to the game. Top scores are recorded and listed in the Top Ten area. The online help, though minimal, does explain the purpose of the game. This program has not yet been reviewed.
