Rabbit uses several different techniques that have been proven to enhance your reading speed, focus, and comprehension. The first technique or mode is called, 'One word - centered', much like reading through flash cards. It takes a while to get used to, but you can eventually read faster using this method because your eyes stay in the same spot. The second reading mode is called Progression. With Progression, you see a few words at a time, but the words are aligned as they would be in a normal paragraph. This technique makes your eyes to move to where the words really would be, but you can only focus on a few words at a time. The third and fourth reading methods are similar. Progression 2 lets you see all of the words in the paragraph, but outlines certain words for you to focus on. Highlight does the same, but changes the background color of the words, rather than outlining them. You can download a 30 day trial version of Rabbit free of charge. The real version is only $5.00.
