Assemble a picture from pieces - people have played this pastime for many centuries. We do not know why it is so popular. But we like the game too. It certainly improves observation, colour sense, visual memory, and hand/mouse coordination :) But that isn't all , by any means :) Our adaptation of this ancient game is not at all traditional.
In our variant of this popular pastime, pieces are shapes consisting of 4 squares , ( as in Tetris). There are four levels of difficulty in the game ( Beginner, Master, Professional ,Expert) The higher the level, the more pieces in the puzzle ( and the smaller the puzzle pieces). Take care, because each time you play, the picture is mixed up in a different way ! The program allows you to use any picture file on your computer - bmp, gif, jpg or jpeg. All you need to do is import the picture. A few sample pictures are included to get you started. You can preview available pictures, before importing. Tetra Jigsaw doesn't force you to start a puzzle from scratch, each time you play. You can save your current state, at any time, and return to it later. So you can start anew, or load in your partly completed puzzle. You can also adapt the program interface to suit your own needs . You can change the background , and hide the toolbar and status bar if you don't want them. We hope you will have fun with Tetra Jigsaw , with its unusual shaped pieces. Every puzzle is different !!
