Description:

NetSpades is a multiplayer card game which allows up to 32 people to take part in a four handed game of Spades. Up to four people take a seat at the table and play cards, while the rest of the people chat and kibbitz.
Players may choose to expose their cards to individual spectators as they see fit. Players create custom personae with which to convey their current mood, via emotional expressions and sound effects.
The game includes many special features, rule variations, statistical measurements and other cool stuff which makes Spades the terrific game it is.
Robots, with varying brain levels (including the brain touted as the best Spades AI around) are available to fill any empty seats.
You can play NetSpades solon, via modem, on an IPX LAN, or via telnet. It is Game Connection compatible for BBS play.
